Garvan Woodland Gardens near Hot Springs, Arkansas

This 210-acre botanical garden is surrounded by 4½ miles of scenic Lake Hamilton shoreline. Features include a four-acre Asian Garden, two waterfalls, three unique stone bridges, a bird sanctuary, children's garden, paved trails and much more.

Walking Tour of Historic Hot Springs

Here you will find streets lined with interesting shops, restaurants, and art galleries in addition to the city's famed bathhouses, Victorian architecture and fun attractions. Antique stores are everywhere.

Little Rock Tour

Spots on the tour include the Old State House Museum (see below), Governor's mansion, the historic house the Villa Marre (featured on Designing Women), the Arkansas State Capitol, historic Central High School and more.

Old State House Museum for Guided Tour

Constructed in 1833 in the Greek Revival style of architecture, this National Historic Landmark is the oldest standing state capitol building west of the Mississippi River. Known throughout Arkansas for its quiet elegance and historical significance, the Old Statehouse Museum gained worldwide recognition when it was used as the setting for President Bill Clinton's election night speeches and celebrations in 1992 and 1996.

Permanent exhibits include Arkansas' First Families featuring first ladies' gowns; original 1836 House of Representatives Chamber; Pillars of Power, history of the Old State House; As Long as Life Shall Last; From the Old State House to the White House and more.
