MEMORANDUM

The Southern Region Program Leadership Committee (PLC) has finalized plans for the PLN meeting including PLC and Program Committees. The annual PLN meeting will be held August 24-27, 2003, at Embassy Suites in Little Rock. As you know, this year's meeting will be held to overlap with the AEA/ASRED meetings. (Information about those meetings will be sent by the respective Association officers.)

The PLN meeting will involve joint sessions for all attendees, individual Program Committee meetings and multi-PC meetings, and a joint session with AEA/ASRED. To assist in further planning for this conference, we need to know those persons who will be representing your institution at the PLN meeting. Please complete the secure online registration form or use the print form and return it to the Southern Rural Development Center no later than August 15, 2003.

The PLN meeting agenda can be found at http://srdc.msstate.edu/03plc/agendas.htm. Please note that hotel reservations must be made no later than Friday, August 8, 2003. Registration fees have been set based on participation in the events during the Southern meetings. Registration fees may be sent individually by participants or in one payment covering all individuals from your institution.
