Approximately 10 people attended the meeting.

Larry Lippke opened the meeting by providing a tentative agenda and explaining the use of Symposium. The first agenda item was to elect a committee chair who would assist in the transition during the first year. Nominations were accepted and Dwayne Hunter was elected. Fred Piazza will continue as Committee vice-chair (chair-elect).

Nominations were accepted for secretary. Howard Beck was nominated and elected committee secretary.

Due to the PLC Representative vacancies, nominations were accepted for the 1862 PLC Representative. Nina Boston was nominated and elected as the Committee's 1862 Representative to the PLC.

The 1890 PLC Committee Representative remains vacant.

Additional discussion was held related on Symposium and other potential software to be evaluated as part of the committee's assignment to review and suggest online conferencing software.

Dwayne Hunter will be forwarding to the listserve tentative committee meeting dates.
