Vision: The Cooperative Extension
Curriculum Project (CECP) will be the primary online resource for in-service*
training for Extension faculty in the Southern Region States.
Mission: To establish and ensure an
efficient process for the development, sharing and maintenance of high-quality
in-service training materials through CECP.
Scope of Responsibility: The Steering
Committee develops and provides guidance to the process of CECP
curriculum development. The actual creation of curriculum modules is the
responsibility of the Program Committees and their designated Module Development
Teams.
Membership: The Steering Committee
is intended to reflect the membership of the Southern Region Program Leadership
Network (PLN). It consists of one representative from each Program Committee
(PC), six at-large members appointed by the PLN Executive Committee (EC),
and three members of the PLN staff. Members will serve three year terms,
with one-third rotating off each year. Members may be reappointed. (Elected
and appointed members' term lengths will be designated in year one to
establish one, two and three year terms. The first members will rotate
off August 2004.)
Leadership: A chair, vice-chair and
secretary will be elected from within the committee. The vice-chair will
become the chair the following year. The secretary will be elected for
a one year term.

Authority/Reporting: The CECP is a
project of the Southern Region Program Leadership Network as a whole.
The organization's Executive Committee is the final authority on CECP,
with the development of the CECP system delegated to the CECP Steering
Committee.

EC, SC, PCs, and MDTs. - Ensure that peer review is established
