SOUTHERN REGION EXTENSION POULTRY WORKSHOP

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The triennial workshop is intended to provide Land-Grant university personnel in the area of poultry science the opportunity for intensive interaction to discuss individual and collective programming. Faculty are provided presentations from industry representatives and peers on educational, professional and other topics. They also have numerous opportunities to discuss future programming needs and exchange ideas. Due to the drastic decline in the number of Extension personnel in regions other than the South, the meeting has been expanded to include representation on the planning committee from the other regions, and personnel from the other regions are welcome to participate in the conference. However, the workshop remains a Southern Region event.
