• Forest Health Management (in coordination with Forest Service and the PR Department of Natural Resources)
• Development of agricultural enterprises (in coordination with the PR Department of Agriculture)
• PAT, NAPIAP, IPM
• Water quality

New initiatives/Thrusts

1. PR Economic Development Bank - agreement to develop an educational marketing Program for exporting agricultural products
2. Millennium Gardens Initiative - in coordination with NRCS
3. Waste disposal management - agreement with Bacardí Corporation

Major issues

Land use, agricultural prices, and import of agricultural products from Central & South America and Dominican Republic
